Things are progressing great on the project. The roof is almost completed as are the two front porticoes. Since we are leaving at the end of the week, I will post pictures at that time.
Ray and Beverly Davis, one of our RV volunteer couples, own property near here. They invited the whole group for a pig pickin'. The weather turned cool and damp but it did not dampen our spirits. Good food and good friends.
Last night we went out to eat locally with one of my high school classmates and her husband, Connie and Jim Owens. We had seen them while we were in the Nashville area last year. They are headed to Florida to get away from the cold weather.
We traveled back to Pensacola to the Naval Air Museum this afternoon to see the IMAX movie about the Colorado River and the Grand Canyon. It was good.
Allan and I have both been sick with bad colds which has made the rounds with our RV volunteers. We are getting better.
