Frank Lloyd Wright House

I took a day off from work and met Nickie Taylor, a high school classmate who lives in Decatur, Al. She drove over and showed me around the area. Neither one of us had been to the Frank Lloyd Wright house in Florence. We got a guided tour through the unique house. He wanted the houses to blend into the outside and let the outside come inside, using similar materials and natural lighting. It was quite interesting. The house was built in 1939. He was way ahead of the times.

I have been working in the Thrift Store going through clothes that have been donated to Restoration Ranch. Today I started mudding in the building the guys are working on. They have done so much work in such as short time and quality work, too. Allan got a taste of different crafts, doing interior framing, helping with plumbing and electrical, and installing sheet rock. We hope to finish hanging the major sheet rock by tomorrow.
