We arrived in Hurley, Mississippi on January 3 to work on Full Life AOG church. The plans right now are to be here through the 3rd week in March. Our time here has been great with wonderful people to work with. The guys have been working hard and accomplishing a lot. The pastor announced Sunday that the RV MAPs workers would probably save them $100,000 in labor costs. The ladies of the church have been feeding us almost every day at lunch. Most of those lunches are not sandwiches either. (Some good home cooking). Allan can attest to that as he is gaining weight.
This is the sanctuary they are using now in the old part of the church.
This is the church kitchen where we have break and meals. Pictured are a few of the workers.
The next two pictures are of the RV's parked behind the church.
This is the front of the new part of the church showing still a lot of work to be completed on the exterior.
This is the new sanctuary. The guys are really up there.
They are tiling two sets of bathrooms which Allan is helping with.
Even the ladies work.
Allan has also been hanging sheet rock. Since our group are not spring chickens, everyone goes home in the afternoon after work with assorted aches and pains. This morning it hurt to squeeze the toothpaste. I have been caulking and painting. We all enjoy this work so much.

We were so thrilled to have seen you again last night. Sorry the visit was so short. Perhaps we will meet again - down the road.
