Arrival in Robertsdale, Al

Date should show Jan 10.
Last Sunday we arrived in Robertsdale in the dark. Ed Evans met us at the turn off and led us to the church parking lot where we dry camped over night. Monday morning we pulled our trailer into the site and hooked up, joining about 14 other rigs. When we started work they were preparing for the concrete pour on the sanctuary walls about 37 feet high. I helped in pouring concrete on the foundation wall for the extended fellowship hall and we have begun installing 12 foot high metal stud walls in the interior of the building.

Jeanne is recovering from surgery. She is doing her exercises but over did the walking. The next day she was in a lot of discomfort and took a pain pill which caused adverse reactions and vows not to take those pills again.

We have found the people to be very friendly and like to socialize after work. We have had to send off for a new air card as ours died. The pastor offered the wifi site while we are waiting. We have several friends in the area and hope to visit them while we are here. Will take some pictures soon.
