We have finished our first week here in Robertsdale. Tomorrow the trusses are to be set on the new church building with roofing to follow.
Allan went out to eat with the group for supper on Thursday night at Ryan's Steak House. Saturday Allan and I drove to the Escapees Rainbow Plantation in Summerdale. Looks like they were full. We decided to eat at the Oyster House in Gulf Shores. Yum. Good food.
We attended Sunday School and church here at the project. We were given a fruit basket as new comers in the RV Maps group. Our group went out to eat after church at MaMa Lou's in Robertsdale. What a delicious buffet. Later, we drove to Camp Baldwin, a Baptist campground, to see some Campers on Mission friends that we had worked with on previous projects. Good to see Terry and Nancy and Billy and Brenda, Wilton, Waylon, Fred and Mary and others.
Weather here has been wet and rather warm, but today the thermometer has been dropping steadily. Back to the winter clothes.
