We started work on July 7 in Lusk, Wy at Crossroads Ministries. We have 3 other couples helping (Virgil and Donna, Jim and Jackie, and Jean and Sue) Pastor Dale is a church planter and started this first Assembly of God in Lusk. The building is an old bar/restaurant and is in need of much repair. Everyone works well together and progress is being made.

Pastor Dale and his wife, Jana had us for an evening meal on Friday which was delicious. Afterwards we attended a pagent "Legend of Rawhide. It is a gigantic show of western history based on the Legend which took place in the 1800's. A young man, from a wagon train en route to the gold fields of California, shot and killed an Indian Princess. Indians encircle the wagon trains:

guns begin to blare and the screams of the wounded mix with the wild yells of the Indians.

The young man is skinned alive in revenge. A cast and crew of 400 area residents, 7-10 covered wagons, cavalry in uniform and equipment of the period and a band of Indians, make up this production. And what a production it is.
Today, July 12, Sat. we visited the Stagecoach Museum

which was very interesting and while in town we watched the parade.

This town has about 1400 in population and is about 50 miles from another town in any direction. The people are very friendly. We have been very impressed with the town.
