Back in Heiskell, Tn

We traveled to Sevierville, Tn. on Monday, Oct. 20 and camped at River Plantation RV Park. Several of our Campers on Mission friends were already there. We went out to eat one night and had a potluck another night. Allan and I went to Cades Cove. It was a beautiful day. We saw quite a few deer and a flock of wild turkey. There was a big traffic jam as we were leaving which turned out to be a bear, a large one. A few crazy people were following it up the mountain to get a picture. The ranger ran them off. Allan tried to get a picture, but he only got trees.
We stayed two extra days because Jim and Connie Owen were coming in. They had been in the West when we were there but we had missed each other by a few days at different locations. She and I were classmates in high school. We had an early supper and a nice visit on Friday. Saturday was moving day. We traveled back to Heiskell, Tn. at the same campground, Raccoon Valley. This week will be time to catch up on chores and cleaning of truck and trailer.
