Heiskell, Tn

We arrived in Heiskell, Tn on Saturday and are camping in our first Escapees Rainbow Park (Raccoon Valley RV Park). They started using over flow camping soon after we arrived. The sites are small but we were able to pull through with no difficulty. Everyone is so nice here. We have had two socials in the two days we have been here. Last night they had ice cream. About 32 people attended. We found a trail at the back of the park. We didn't realize when we started that the trail went to the top of the hill (mountain) and back. We got our exercise in at least with neither one of us coming back on a stretcher. Because of my knees, at one point I told Allan that he might have to leave me for the food chain but I rested and then used him for support going down the hill. Allan said he had been a Boy Scout and he was used to helping old ladies across the street. We are heading out this morning for Sevierville for several days to camp with some friends. Hope the big crowd is gone, but we doubt it. We may come back here for a few more days of camping.
