Moose sighting

We saw a moose. Just look at that picture. He stood there so quietly posing for us. He is actually made of wire. Still no live moose.

On the 4th we went to Rutland for our usual Saturday shopping. I got my hair cut finally. Saturday night we went to the Killington recreation area to watch the fireworks. They had a jazz band playing. Just before 9 o'clock the bottom fell out and poured down rain. The fireworks were rescheduled for the following night.

Sunday we went to church and cleaned up around our RV. It was a beautiful sunny day but we did not return to watch the fireworks. We could hear them in the distance.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Could not see them because we have too many tall trees.

Today was a work day. We cleaned the lower bathrooms and cleaned and scraped on some lean-tos. The park ranger will be off for two days. Allan will be making night rounds for the next two nights for her. Hope things are quiet. We don't have too many campers in the park tonight. We had a beautiful day today but around 6:30 it started raining again.
