Warmer Days Are Here

Sunday, after going to church we went to Larry and Joyce's cabin for a wonderful afternoon visit. They do a lot of boon docking and have numerous solar panels on their New Horizon 5th wheel. They travel extensively in and outside of the US. We hope to see them at the New York Escapee's Rally in September.

We were able to talk with Paul and Joyce, from Mass., about the rodeo they attended. We exchanged emails and blog info and hope to see them down the road again. They will be returning home in a few weeks and plan to put their house up for sale.

Allan and I have continued to paint on the office and ranger's house this week. It is getting warmer (in the low 80's). We turned on the A/C for the first time for about 30 minutes after we got home from painting. Sean came by to help Allan put the washer and dryer in their new home. Allan built a platform to set the dryer on which will be an improvement over the other setup. If he has a problem with the washer, he will not have to pull out the dryer first. I am so excited to get to wash clothes. The hamper has been filling up quickly. I know what I will be doing while Allan is gone. "This is the way we wash our clothes". One thing I was pleasantly surprised to learn was the washer will hold a larger amount of clothes. Before I could only wash two pair of jeans at a time.

The bear is still visiting us at night. He has found a free lunch and the chains on the dumpster have not kept him out.
