WE ARE BACK

The Island Princess, the ship we sailed on, docked in Vancouver, BC on Monday about 7:30 AM. We had time to have breakfast and go through customs before boarding a Princess bus which took us to SEATAC airport. We then had a limo pick us up and return us to our RV. It was good to be back although we enjoyed our Alaskan visit greatly.

Tuesday we visited Bob and Betty Evans on the Olympic peninsula. Allan served with Bob in Vietnam and they are both RV MAPS volunteers. From there we picked up Katie, the kitty. She has required a lot of belly rubs. She checked out the RV from end to end.

Today, we packed up and traveled over the Cascade Mountains in the rain. It was beautiful even in the rain with the clouds hanging low and occasional sighting of snow. We are spending one night in Ellensburg, Washington on the Yakima River with a view of pastures with horses and cows. I am happy and Katie is happy, too. We are going for a walk now before the rain comes in again. This is not a good quality photo, but it was such a beautiful lake with the low hanging clouds.
