Darrell and Judy Patterson made a long trip to pay us a visit on Friday. We had not seen them in quite some time and needed to catch up on our travel experiences. We were able to show them the church we are working on. They got to see our new baby goats and other assorted farm animals. We are out in the middle of no where so what else is there to see. Darrell has a gift in writing and he adds a lot of humor to his blog. We do enjoy reading it. We totally forgot to get pictures.
The ladies received our book "Joshua" today for our book club. We are to read 4 chapters and tomorrow will meet for discussion on it. The book is not what I thought it would be, but I think it is going to be a really good one.
The ladies have decided to have a shopping day on Thursday and have the guys meet us at the restaurant for our regular Thursday night outing since we will already be in town.
Painting is the next big project on the church. Allan had to crawl through a small hole because there was a leak in the baptistery. He was sore when he got home, but really did not complain.

It’s always nice to get together with friends and fun to share where life has taken us. Sounds like all of you had a great time of renewal and fellowship.
