It seems like only yesterday we moved into our RV (Aug. 2007). Since that time we have traveled over 50,000 miles, (20,000 were done this year) and those figures do not include our 30th anniversary trip to Alaska. We flew up and took a ship back. We have traveled through 42 states so far.
Allan and I worked on 6 projects in Midland, Tx., Peoria, Az., Medical Lake, Wa., Billings, Mt., Talladega, Al. and Berrydale, Fl. These included a Teen Challenge facility, 3 churches, a Christian camp, and a Christian conference center. We wish we could tell you of all our experiences and blessings at these projects. We attended the RV MAPS Convention in Carlinville, Il. for a week where they presented church mission projects for the next year.
Last year was the best year we have experienced on the road. It just gets better each year and we are anticipating a more blessed year in 2011. We are in Florida working on a church project through February. March will be a month of taking care of medical issues and preparing to head to Colorado and possibly Utah to work on projects in those states. We hope to check off two additional states traveled in 2011.
