ON THE ROAD AGAIN, FINALLY!

We spent the night at Sun Coast RV in Calera, Al. so they could finish the tow bar and related work. While we were there we had several visitors, but only got pictures of one couple. Joe and Carolyn Segler dropped by to see our motorhome. They are ready to get on the road as soon as their house sells. We always look forward to seeing them. Joe and Carolyn just attended the RV Dreams rally in Tennessee.

Nancy Jackson stopped by. She is the first person I met when we moved to Alabama. We have been horsing around ever since. Sorry Daryl had to go back to work. Missed seeing him.

Van Hayes, a long-time friend from church came by. He has a MH. We also saw he and his wife, Faye, at the FMCA rally in Perry, Ga. before we got our MH.

Two of our daughters, Venus and April and our grandson, Joshua stopped by, too. Our time with them is way too short so we very much enjoy any chance to spend time with them.

We attended Homestead Hollow in Springville, Al on Mother's Day with our daughter, Yancy. This was my first time there.

They have old pioneer homes and businesses that have been moved and reerected which you can tour. Food is a big thing there. There are many vendors who have good food. My Mother's Day delight was fried green tomatoes.

There were many very talented vendors with their crafts. Would loved to have bought some, but have no place for them. We went early to avoid the heat and humidity.

I am very behind on my blogging, but it is late. We have to get up early to head for Albuquerque, NM in the morning.
