We enjoyed our stay in Benson. Our campsite was the largest and nicest we have ever had. It was a purchased lot that is rented when the owner is away. I took a quick picture of Tucson while passing on the Interstate.
Thursday we spent the night at Allan's cousins, Dean and Austin. Allan had not seen Dean since they were in high school and we had an enjoyable visit.
On our way today driving to Yuma the landscaped changed with larger cacti and lava rock.
Alfalfa is being grown with the help of irrigation.
We are staying at Fortuna De Ozo Resort for two days and then on to the fairgrounds for the Gypsy Journal Rally.
For the last several days Katie has been playing hard. She runs and slides on the floor. Jumps up on the back of the chairs and sometimes misses her mark. Afterwards she must be "plumb tuckered out" because a nap ensues. Then she wakes up at our bedtime to start the playtime over again.
