The weather is getting colder and raining just about every day. It was 31 this morning. There is a prediction of snow today but it probably won't happen here, maybe on Killington Mountain. If it snowed it was while we were asleep. The campground is almost empty. We were booked to almost capacity for this weekend, but Casey said we have had a number of cancellations. We painted yesterday with high temps in low 40's with misty rain. The leaves continue to change. Getting prettier every day. Peak is near. Prediction is high in mid 50's for next week with rain.
We are having friends from Alabama visiting with us next week and are looking forward to that.
Yesterday as I was leaving the RV I looked around for the cat. She was on the chair in the dining area so I proceeded outside. As I shut the door I heard a blood curdling yeow from Katie. I found her under the bed when I went immediately back in to check on her. Apparently she had run to the door and got her foot squished?? She came out later and forgave me. She does not seem to be injured that I have found so far.
On to more painting today. We are almost finished. Allan finished all the sanding yesterday and we are on our last lean-to. Today we may get to paint the pump house.
