DOWN TIME

Allan and I signed up for a tour and history of Park Sierra for Thursday. This was very informative and just a nice day for a ride around the park. We rode down to the river, but due to higher water level we were not able to cross and see the additional acreage on the other side. They plan to leave it natural to give a buffer from future commercial and residential building. We were shown cougar rock which was named because someone saw a cougar sunning on the rock.

They have a lot of California poppies in a flower bed at the club house and around the park. They are a pretty orange.

After the tour I washed clothes and I washed clothes today also. We attended the social hour and bunco.

This afternoon Allan made a discovery that the truck was not running smoothly. He made a call to the Freightliner dealer. He will try to drive it in to Fresno tomorrow and hopefully be able to get it in working order as we had plans to leave here Monday.
