This is a picture of the church Allan has been working on.
We hit some wind on our travel to California, but it was an uneventful moving day.
We came upon an area that was burned along the road.
What a view we have out our back window. We have stopped here in Desert Hot Springs right on the San Andreas Fault for about three days until the wind and rain pass.
On our way to Joshua Tree National Park we took these pictures.
Here is a Joshua tree. It is in the family of Yucca.
This is a view from a high point in the park. The San Andreas fault is down there somewhere.
This area is between the Colorado and Mojave Deserts. This picture is of Barker Dam which was built about 1900 by the cowboys for their cattle. There were cattle grazing this area until the grass dried up and turned to desert. It must have been from all those carbon emission or cattle belches.
