Katie the kitty, Tuscumbia, Al

When I woke up Monday morning the first thought that came to me was the word Katie so I named Tinker Belle Katie the kitty. Katie has been in the humane society for some time apparently and then she was adopted by a lady the day before we saw her. She returned her because her cats and Katie didn't get along. It takes a while with cats, but I'm glad she returned her. Katie was loosing so much hair and I am sure a lot of it was from all the stress. We put her in the big, noisy truck and drove for 3+ hours with a stop or two. She expressed a dislike for the carrier so we let her out in the cab with us on a leash. She found a corner in the back seat and slept all the way. What a good kitty. She got to meet Holly, Terry and Nancy's tiny dog, when we arrived at our destination. No growls or hisses. They just touched noses. We got settled in and let Katie back in the RV. She was glad to be back home. Last night she started on the end of the bed and ended up between the two of us. We all slept good.
We are several miles out of Tuscumbia. No TV other than snowy PBS. The men will be working on a new building on the inside doing framing of walls. It has been cool and cloudy and has started to rain. This place is called Restoration Ranch. It helps people get their life back in order.
