We finished our time at the Restoration Ranch. This facility is helping people get their lives back on track, most coming from a history of either drugs, alcohol or prison. We were really touched by the dedication of the people and their need. Their only source of revenue is donations. There is no fee for the people who come here.
The travel to our new destination was a little stressful for Katie, but she did survive. She did a lot of backseat driving.
We like the new RV park. It has a beautiful view of Logan Martin Lake. We are just south of Pell City. There are lots of geese and ducks in the park and Katie is enjoying watching them through her window perch. We woke up to the honking of the geese yesterday.
Yesterday we attended church at Church of the Highlands with Yancy and Scott. Afterwards we had lunch and went to see Yancy's house she is purchasing. We are very pleased with its condition and her choice.
